For Halloween thrills, chills and Autumn activites for all ages, be sure to visit the Westwood Elks Halloween Festival from October 26th through October 31st.  Open nightly from 6pm to 10pm, the festival offers food, drinks, music, carnival games, and Halloween-themed merchants. The Westwood Elks Club is located at 523 Kinderkamack Road in Westwood, NJ.

The feature attraction is a Dark Forest Creation original Scream Theater Show, “Wolf’s Moon.”

What is Scream Theater?

Scream Theater is part labyrinth and part theatrical event. Groups of 40 people navigate their way through a haunted museum and dark maze full of surprises. Those who make it through this web are lead into a laboratory where they take a seat and watch a man attempt to make history. The entire show from start to finish runs a thrilling 25 minutes.

What is the story of Wolf’s Moon?

In the heart of suburban New Jersey a madman is conducting an experiment. Through years of trial and error, Dr. Chaney has invented a light which simulates the energy of a full moon. Together with unwilling participant Lawrence Talbott, a man believed to be a werewolf, he will use this light, which he calls the “Wolf’s Moon”, to prove once and for all - that werewolves do exist.

Dr. Chaney is looking for some brave souls to witness this event.  Are you up for the challenge?
